Mystic Fable was inspired by dreamy fairy tales and fables, antique applique quilts, and traditional house quilt blocks. The quirky shapes and animal motifs used in applique quilts at the turn of the century have inspired all of Alexia's recent collections.
Alexia Marcelle Abegg is a fabric designer, artist, and founding member of Ruby Star Society. Inspired by her creative upbringing and background in sewing, tailoring, and art, Alexia brings a hand-drawn, organic style to her fabric collections.
