Alexia Marcelle Abegg, a Nashville-based artist, values rawness in her work and focuses on hand-processing like painting and block printing to maintain an approachable aspect in her pieces.

Inspired by her parents, she transitioned through various creative pursuits before settling into fine art quilts and sewing patterns. Alongside her mother, she co-founded Green Bee Patterns and was a founding designer of Cotton+Steel.

Currently, she works with clay, paper, textiles, paint, ink, and dye, emphasizing the handmade nature of her art.
