Description
Julia Wachs, the writer, an aerospace engineer, started quilting in 2014 as a creative outlet. She’s a member of the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild and her designs are modern and geometric, inspired by the Pacific Northwest. In their free time, they enjoy traveling, hiking, running, trying new beer, and playing with their dog.
Looking for a new quilting project? Check out the Vesta Row of the Month quilt pattern! With both foundation paper piecing and appliqué techniques, it may seem complicated, but it's actually quite easy to assemble. Moreover, the pattern offers both raw edge and freezer paper instructions for appliqué, allowing you to customize the level of involvement to your liking.
