Handi Quilter manufactures of mid-arm and longarm quilting machines, frames, accessories and educational materials for machine quilting. Laurel Barrus, founder of Handi Quilter, had the idea for the “Handi Quilter” portable frame when she was looking for a way to take a portable machine quilting frame to her family cabin. In 1999 she took her “Handi Quilter” to Quilt Festival and from there she grew the company to what it is today.

Handi Quilter will be providing two Sweet Sixteen machines available for attendees to quilt their projects at Sewtopia Salt Lake. They will be available at certain times through out the weekend. Throat space of sixteen inches gives you room to work on even a king-size quilt. The smooth surface of the included table allows your project to glide under the needle. The powerful motor handles quilting with ease and stitches up to 1,500 stitches per minute. More information.
