Description
In April of 2010, Heather Ross was designing for Kokka fabrics and she announced her 2nd part of her Far Far Away series. Just like the 1st part of the series, the 2nd part had great fairy tale characters but this time it was introducing new characters like Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, and the Owl singing to the Pussy Cat. It was printed on a linen with a natural color.
Heather Ross's latest collection of extra widebacks is inspired by her hand-block printed and stenciled fabrics. These prints feature a bold scale and pattern repetition, making them ideal for quilt backs and children's bedding. You'll notice a harmonious color palette that complements her various illustrative collections.
I love seeing quilts on kids beds, all rumpled up and showing their backings, so I took this opportunity to really play with scale and art style
