LoFi Linen is Ruby Star Society’s newest linen collection, and it’s all about finding that perfect creative groove. Inspired by the calming, beat-driven sounds of LoFi music, this collection blends soft, low-volume prints with unexpected pops of neon for a look that’s equal parts chill and electric. It’s soothing, surprising, and full of personality—just like the playlists that keep you sewing late into the night.
A Production Designer at Google, Rashida Coleman-Hale has been making things ever since she can remember. She studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Not sure if fashion was her calling, she traded her sewing machine in for a computer and worked as a freelance graphic designer. Her passion for sewing rekindled in 2006 after the arrival of her first child, and she began a blog to document her re-born creative life. Rashida has since published two sewing books, created a fabric lines for Timeless Treasure & Cloud 9 Fabrics, and was a founding member of Cotton+Steel.
