Make & Mend, founded in 2017 by artist Emily Tirella, aims to make art supplies more affordable by offering gently used materials at accessible prices. The initiative was created to help remove financial barriers for both experienced artists and beginners. Originally a brick-and-mortar store, Make & Mend transitioned to a digital platform in March 2020, continuing to serve the Boston artist community and beyond.
