In 1933, Naozo Nomura founded a trading company in Kyoto, which evolved into today's LECIEN. The name "LECIEN" was inspired by a French company. LECIEN began manufacturing embroidery post-war and introduced two color-dyed lace, leading to the foundation of their lace business. They were the first in Japan to create "All-Over Embroidery" for clothing. In 1992, "Nomura Co., Ltd" became "LECIEN Co., Ltd," emphasizing quality in their products to satisfy customers.
