<p>Meenal Patel is an illustrator, children’s book author, and color-lover. She lives in California. She's had big dreams since the ripe age of four, declaring that she would be a butterfly when she grew up. This is also Meenal's earliest memory of making art – a book about her family and the butterfly she would become that was followed with many happy years of drawing underground bunny homes and making tiny clay worlds of rosebuds and bears. Outside of the studio Meenal loves reading cookbooks, painting with her nieces, baking birthday cakes, and hiking in the beautiful outdoor spaces of California with her husband and sweet dog.</p>
