Description
Starry Signs is an abstract sky/constellation Foundation Paper Pieced (FPP) design tied to the zodiac. Blocks will be released throughout the year at roughly the same corresponding timeframes in the zodiac calendar. Included in the BOM registration is a pattern for a moon/stars center (makes a great baby quilt on it’s own) and optional cloud corners, making an oversize Throw quilt. Additional assembly instructions will also be given for a more traditional grid arrangement of a throw or runners/wall hangings.
Whole Circle Studio, founded in 2015 by Sheri Cifaldi-Morrill, specializes in custom modern quilts, patterns, and surface design illustration. Sheri, a designer with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design, blends art, design, and craft, challenging traditional quilt notions while honoring the craft's heritage. With over 20 years in graphic design, she self-taught sewing in her late 30s, igniting her passion for quilt design and leading to the establishment of her studio.
