Melody's florals have always been a staple in her collections, but this time they are the centerpiece. Melody started off wanting to create something with a vintage vibe, but as she worked the florals became more and more vibrant, which left the collection feeling summery with a dash of retro. Look for the adorable seed packet prints, large and bright florals, as well as the breathtaking details in the moths. The pinks, oranges, blues, and vibrant greens in this collection will make the most colorful projects!
Melody Miller grew up in the Lowcountry of South Caroline, quite possibly the prettiest place on earth. Later, she felt as much at home in New York City, where she studied industrial design at Pratt Institute, and her love for vintage objects began. She found her way to fabric design and designed numerous collections for Kokka fabrics. In 2013 she dreamed up the idea of Cotton+Steel and became one of the five founding designers.
