The ONE GOOD THING Block of the Month begins May 1st, 2022 and runs 12 months. This Block of the Month is for Libs Patreon members at the Quilt Gang level and above. Libs created a BOM program that would give all participants at least one good thing to look forward to each month. Members will be covering regular machine piecing, foundation piecing, curves, stripes, and inset circles. Lots to learn for quilters of all levels resulting in a beautiful modern quilt at the end. There's four designs to that you can choose from, depending on how much time and effort you want to put in.
Elizabeth (Libs) Elliott is a textile artist and fabric designer exploring the intersection of technology and traditional craft by using generative design to build handmade quilts. Libs is a fabric designer with Andover fabrics. Her quilt commissions include work for individuals and corporate clients such as Absolut Vodka. She has spoken at numerous quilt guilds and digital creative events such as PechaKucha and EYEO Festival. She has exhibited her work internationally and been covered by press such as DesignMilk and The Creators Project. Libs studied Material Art & Design at OCAD University. Libs lives with her husband, son and daughter in Toronto, Canada. She has a bulldog named Gus and aspires to have gold teeth someday.
Our kit will be making Quilt 3 One Great Thing - 80"x80" quilt with 8" blocks. Patreon members will be getting a discount on Kona solids so if they want to order additional yardage through the year.
